PRINCIPAL RISK & SAFETY CONSULTANT
DEPARTMENT
Risk & Safety Department.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to Technical Director/Managing Director.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for managing all risk and safety consultancy services and managing clients’ expectations and requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and execute risk and safety related services.
- Review the quality of all safety study reports before they are sent to clients.
- Responsible for all HSE coordination in the safety department.
- Develop and expand technical capabilities on safety related work.
- Communicate or liaise with client on proposals.
- Be the focal point for fronting all clients giving a practical and  objective view on recommendations made.
- Develop and train junior consultants.

Develop and improve technical management process.
QUALIFICATIONS
-

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

- A minimum of 10 years job-related experience in oil and gas industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skill.
- Good analytical skill.
- Self motivated and self driven.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with customers and in a team environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Process & Dynamic Simulation Department.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to Technical Director.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for producing study reports and leading offshore and onshore Process Engineering and Dynamic Simulation consultancy projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-

Overview of construction of steady state and dynamic computer models of process equipment.

- Specialist simulation work.
- Analyse simulation output and recommend solutions to problems identified.
- Technical guidance in model building.
- Manage delegation of work to subordinates.
- Review Study Reports.
- Lead project teams and perform project management.
- Manage company/client technical communications.
- Auditing of models.
- Produce proposals for Process and Simulation studies.

Lead and manage a group of process & simulation consultants.
QUALIFICATIONS
-

Numerical Bachelor’s degree.

- A minimum of 10 years Dynamic Simulation experience of oil and gas processing systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
-

Self motivated and self driven.

- Team leading.
- Computer literate.
- Experience in use of computer process simulation packages (e.g. any of HYSYS (Dynamic version), OLGA, SPS, Flowmaster, Traflow, LIQT, SPEEDUP, SYNERGEE,etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with customers and in a team environment.

SENIOR SAFETY CONSULTANT (GRADE 7)
DEPARTMENT

ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to Technical Director.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for producing study reports and leading offshore and onshore Safety & Risk Assessment consultancy projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to execute and manage risk and safety related projects.
- Interface and manage clients.
- Manage the team of juniors.
- Provide training to subordinates.
- Take ownership of projects.
- Provide inputs for proposal and initiate proposal.
- Develop methodologies for a new project.
- Update the list of references or databases, E&P Forum database, OREDA, WOAD, new references.

Develop or upgrade the QRA models, which are in the Microsoft Excel format.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Numerical Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years direct risk and safety experience in the oil and gas industry.
- North Sea experience an added advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to analyse numerical results.
- Able to analyse and understand all consequence modelling results.
- Well versed with the consequence models (i.e. FRED, HG System, PHAST, etc.).
- Strong team leadership.
- Computer literate.
- Experience in conducting risk assessment studies, onshore QRA & offshore QRA.
- Have managed and executed projects.

CONSULTANT (GRADE 4)
DEPARTMENT

ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to Technical Director / Senior Consultant.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for undertaking and producing study reports on Process, Safety and Environmental for oil, gas, petrochemical and utility industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic knowledge on Process Engineering.
- Able to read and understand PFDs, P&IDs and Isometrics.
- Able to undertake numerical analysis.
- Conduct consequence modelling using special programmes (i.e. FRED, Flaresim, HG System).
- Assist and liaise with the team leaders and clients on day to day project activities.
- Undertake report writing.
QUALIFICATIONS

First or second upper class degree in Chemical Engineering.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
-

Self motivated.

- Team player.
- Enthusiastic.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Computer literate (Familiar with Microsoft Office).
- Preferably with basic knowledge of HYSIS Plant, HYSYS, ASPEN, SPS, HYFLOW, OLGA.
